Software - IBM Passport Advantage
We wanted to let you know about some recent changes in the way IBM resells its software licenses. IBM premier Business Partners, such as InCentric Solutions, now have the ability to discount prices charged to customers. Since IBM receives the funds for software renewals no matter who the vendor is, we view this as a direct advantage to you the customer, since we can offer significant discounts.
If InCentric is currently listed as your reseller of choice, there should be no problems renewing your licenses when the time comes. However, if you do not have a Passport Advantage account, or originally purchased your software or previous renewal licenses through another vendor, I would like to assist you in making the necessary changes so we can offer a smooth renewal process when the time comes.
In general, we will be happy to obtain the necessary quote for your software renewal. Please watch for the pdf file that IBM issues, usually about 60 days prior to the renewal date. As soon as you get this information, you should review it for additions and deletions (this would be the appropriate time to add additional new software as necessary) and then forward to us with a request to provide the quote. We can usually get the quote for you in less than 24 hours.
