Websphere Systems Administrator
InCentric Solutions has an immediate need for Websphere Systems Administrator in Morrisville, North Carolina..
Primary Responsibility:
Responsible for assisting customers with the installation, configuration, deployment and administration of enterprise applications on WebSphere Application Server (WAS) or WebSphere Portal. Candidates must have experience with Unix shell scripting or JACL scripts that automate the WebSphere Administration (recycling the application server, deploying customer applications, logs rotation and monitor applications state). Duties may also include WebSphere migrations, performance tuning, load balancing, and failover strategies. Candidates who are interested in either full time or 1099 consulting will be considered.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of WebSphere administration experience in a high availability clustered environment
- Experience installing and configuring WAS on multiple platforms such as AIX, iSeries, Sun, Z/OS, and Linux
- Candidate should be familiar WebSphere Application Server v.4x, 4.5x and v.6x
- Candidate should be proficient with either JACL, WSCP or WSADMIN
- Willingness to travel
